Cardiology provides diagnostic, treatment and surgical services to patients
with diseases or disorders of the heart and vascular system. Good Samaritan
Hospital's cardiology department is among the finest (and most experienced)
in the nation, caring for one of the largest patient volumes in the western
United States, with state-of-the-art treatments and technologies. Patients
benefit from expert and experienced physicians and surgeons, the most
recent and advanced diagnostic services, safe emergency transport, specialized
nursing, patient education and a comprehensive rehabilitation program.
Our cardiologists and cardiac surgeons work with highly skilled and experienced
teams of specialists, including cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists,
perfusionists, critical care nurses, nurse coordinators, technicians and
others to ensure that each patient receives expert and personalized care.
Cardiologists are available 24 hours per day, seven days a week for immediate
medical assistance. Good Samaritan Hospital offers:

- Two dedicated cardiac operating rooms
- Three cardiac catheterization labs, two of which are Hybrid Operating Room Cath Labs
A dedicated electrophysiology lab. The hospital also maintains the
Acute Myocardial Intervention (AMI) Transport Program for safe transportation of critically ill cardiac patients.
