Breast pump rentals at Good Samaritan Hospital: Good Samaritan Hospital rents portable breast pumps. The pumps are hospital grade pumps that can be used at home or at work. Please contact the Perinatal Support Services Office at 213-977-2547 for more details and information about availbility.
The Davajan-Cabal Center for Perinatal Medicine sets a new standard for the delivery of comprehensive maternity services. Superbly equipped facilities, including LDR (Labor, Delivery, Recovery) rooms, enhance the birthing experience. Highly trained perinatal nurses and other health care professionals provide gentle support and personal service.
It's the important extras that make Good Samaritan Hospital unique: a
full spectrum of childbirth preparation classes, one-on-one instruction
about infant and post-partum care, even the services of a certified breastfeeding
specialist. Classes are provided in English, Spanish and Korean.
Expectant mothers may use the services of a midwife.
When extra care and expertise are required, the center is staffed and
equipped to handle the maternal and fetal complications of high-risk pregnancies.
Good Samaritan Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is staffed by a team
of neonatologists, nurses, and respiratory care practitioners.
