About The Executive Physical Examination
Good Samaritan Hospital’s Executive Physical Examination provides a comprehensive evaluation of your health through a thorough physical examination, laboratory testing, cardiovascular assessments, and other diagnostic and screening services. The majority of the tests are completed efficiently within one location. After completing your laboratory and radiology tests, you will end the day by meeting with your Good Samaritan Hospital primary care physician to review your medical history, complete physical examination, and discuss your test results. The confidential diagnostic screenings and tests are completed within half-a-day and include:
- Medical History Review by your GSH Primary Care Physician
- Complete Physical Examination
- Height, Weight, Blood Pressure, Pulse, and Respiration Readings
- Electrocardiogram (EKG)
- Laboratory Tests (including cholesterol panel, metabolic panel, complete blood count, thyroid and iron, kidney function, liver function, ferritin, H-pylori, high sensitivity CRP, hepatitis A, B & C, and urinalysis)
- Chest X-ray
- Carotid Ultrasound
- Digital Cardiac Scoring (64-slice CT)
- Virtual Colonoscopy (OPTIONAL – requires preparation the day before the examination)
- Bone Density Scanning (Dexascan)
- Pap Smear and Digital Mammography (for women)
- Prostate Exam and PSA Blood Test (for men)
