Good Samaritan Hospital is a world-class academic medical center affiliated
with USC School of Medicine. Good Samaritan Hospital supports seven Centers
of Excellence that focus on advancing the science of medicine while providing
outstanding patient care with national and internationally renowned physicians.
The centers include the Heart & Vascular Center, Comprehensive Orthopaedic
Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Tertiary Retinal Surgery, Pancreatico-Biliary
Program, Transfusion-Free Medicine & Surgery Center, and the Davajan-Cabal
Center for Perinatal Medicine.
Each year, Good Samaritan Hospital admits approximately 12,500 patients
(excluding newborns) and handles more than 76,000 outpatient visits. More
than 2,500 deliveries and 5,900 surgeries are performed annually in 23
Good Samaritan Hospital completed its new 193,000-square foot Medical Pavilion
featuring the Frank R. Seaver Ambulatory Surgery Center in 2018. The new
medical pavilion features amenities such as a patient friendly lobby,
radiation oncology, pharmacy, Women’s Imaging, and Bistro Café
on the first floor. The second floor includes 8 outpatient surgery suites
and floors 3 to 7 houses ancillary services and physician offices. The
Medical Pavilion offers Los Angeles a leading-edge facility where physicians,
patients and family members will feel comfortable in a space designed
to enhance the efficiency and convenience of acquiring advanced medical care.
