Community Support Resources

  • Los Angeles County Residents Can Call 2-1-1 24/7 information line for a wide variety of resources available in the County, including food, housing, transportation, income/employment, mental healthcare, crisis services, older adult services and more.

Income / Employment

  • Unemployment Insurance Employees impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic can apply if they were laid off, quarantined, had their hours cut, and/or need to stay home to care for their children due to the recent closure of schools.
  • Paid Family Leave Employees unable to work to care for a sick or a quarantined family member with COVID-19
  • Disability Insurance Employees prohibited to work by a medical professional for having or being exposed to COVID-19

Food Resources

  • CalFresh WebsiteThe state of California has authorized an emergency CalFresh benefit allotment for eligible households. You may apply online or on the DPSS Mobile App.
  • Older Adult Nutrition Visit the website or call (800) 510-2020 for senior meal pick-up sites.

Substance Abuse Services

  • Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA) 1-562-906-2676. L.A. CADA offers outpatient, intensive outpatient and residential treatment services including Medication Assisted Treatment for adults (ages 18+) with substance use or co-occurring disorders. Adolescent (ages 12-17) substance use services are provided in an outpatient setting including Medication Assisted Treatment.
