Jesse handles Good Samaritan Hospital’s Post-Acute Facilities Partner
Program. He brings a background that includes healthcare marketing combined
with EMS experience as an EMT treating patients on a paramedic ambulance.
Good Samaritan Hospital’s Post-Acute Facilities Partner Program
is an affiliation of area senior nursing and urgent care facilities, clinics,
independent and assisted living communities and home health providers
that commit to using a variety of medical services at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Jesse’s marketing background includes providing strategic marketing
initiatives and advertising services for major healthcare companies such
as Kaiser Permanente, Health Net, L.A. Care, Molina Healthcare and FHP.
Jesse completed his bachelor’s degree in radio and film at California
State University in Northridge and emergency medical technician certification
at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine and Prehospital Care.
Yadira T. De La Cruz
Yadira is responsible for outreach physician recruitment, and relationship
building. She has oversight of business development for primary care,
orthopaedics, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and rheumatology. Yadira
received her bachelor’s degree from California State University
Long Beach, where she double majored in political science and Latin American
studies. She was admitted to the prestigious Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral
Scholars program through CSU and UCLA in the Political Science Department.
She previously served as regional network manager for Accountable Healthcare
IPA, where she had oversight of 800 physicians throughout L.A. County.
Yadira also has extensive experience in the nonprofit and public sectors
implementing community development programs, engaging diverse stakeholders
and building strategic partnerships. She formally sat on the board for
East L.A.’s Classic Theatre for underprivileged kids.
Mirian brings 25 years of experience in working with healthcare organizations
and independent physician associations (IPA). Her expertise is in developing
providers’ practices by implementing, supervising and coordinating
community services, educational programs through outreach efforts and
media exposure, as well as recruiting physicians. At Good Samaritan Hospital,
Mirian handles physician recruitment in the following specialties: obstetrics/gynecology,
general, plastic, and vascular surgeries. She is the primary contact in
assisting providers and clinic partners with direct and indirect referrals
to Good Samaritan Hospital. In addition, Mirian conducts educational sessions
at local clinics to educate the staff about the services at Good Samaritan
Hospital along with providing hospital tours and conducting birthing classes
Physician Liaison and Customer Service
Hattie has extensive knowledge and experience within the healthcare and
travel industries for over 15 years combined. She worked at Thai Airways
International as a sales and marketing manager, prior to coming to Good
Samaritan Hospital as a Korean patient liaison, then transitioned to her
role as physician and community liaison. She is currently on the board
of Angelus Plaza Senior Center as part of her commitment to the community.
Hattie majored in psychology at Azusa Pacific University. She grew up
in South America and is fluent in Korean, Spanish, and Thai.
Physician Liaison & Business Development
Dwayne is responsible for Korean physician recruitment and business development.
Dwayne completed his undergraduate degree at the College of Medicine Pochon
CHA University in Gyeonggi, South Korea followed by a master’s degree
in health administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville,
Florida. His expertise includes physician relations, service line development,
community and public relations, research and analysis, and program development.
