Give to Good Samaritan.
Give to your community.
We rely on the generosity of Good Samaritan donors to bring top-notch care,
groundbreaking research, and the newest technology to Los Angeles County.
Your gift today will help you, your friends, and your loved ones in times
of need. 100% of every gift goes right back into our community, and enables
us to continue our tradition of caring.
Give a gift to Good Samaritan.
A gift today goes back into the community.
Your gift to Good Samaritan will be used where it is needed most. There
are important areas we’re currently working on where your generosity
could be felt.
Improving the lives of cancer patients.
Helen’s Room was founded to help cancer patients feel confident and
comfortable with themselves and their appearance. The program offers wigs,
prosthetics, makeup lessons, and more to patients so they can keep their
focus where it needs to be — winning their fight against cancer.
Helen’s Room is offered entirely free of charge to patients thanks
to the generosity of Good Samaritan Donors.
Speeding up cancer treatment and recovery.
A linear accelerator is used for precision cancer treatment, and can significantly
speed up treatment and recovery from certain forms of cancer. Good Samaritan
is raising the funds to purchase a second linear accelerator, which will
help us bring top-of-the-line cancer care to even more people in our community
and beyond. Your gift today could change a cancer patient’s life.
Stroke education, care and rehabilitation.
Good Samaritan is leading the charge in stroke prevention, identification,
care, and recovery. Your gift could support high school training programs
that help students identify signs of stroke in parents and grandparents;
our Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center (the only one in Downtown LA);
or portable lift systems and Bioness Integrated Therapy Systems at our
new acute rehabilitation center. Seconds can be the difference between
life and death in stroke patients, and your dollars can be that difference.
A legacy of giving has made Good Samaritan what it is today.
Generous donations to Good Samaritan have made our hospital one of the
best in the area. Recent support has funded projects and equipment that
is changing and saving lives.
Philanthropic giving has supported:
The founding of the Structural Heart Program, which brings together multidisciplinary
teams to perform minimally invasive treatments on damaged heart valves,
and other common heart defects.
Our Mother and Baby campaign to fund renovations of our perinatal and postpartum
rooms, and vital equipment for our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Doubling the number of beds in the Emergency Department in order to better
serve our community when they need us.
